my son has a bloody scab & thick, yellow mucus in his nose. he has a scab on the corner of his mouth & red spots on his face as well. any ideas?

Impetigo: The most likely thing would be impetigo, or infected skin sores. Once there is a break in the skin, from scratching or other irritation, it is easy for the bacteria to spread. Since children keep their hands in their mouth, nose and around their face, the infection can spread quickly. Talk to your doctor about using an antibiotic ointment.

i have yellow/green stuff in back of throat every morning for the past week. i had dark red spots on roof of mouth. what is it?  no insurance! help!

Neti pot sinus rinse: The mucus you have in the back of your throat is the result of a viral infection. Get a neti pot nasal irrigator at the drug  store and use the salt water perperation to rinse your nose 3 times a day. The red spots are the result of the virus and will go away in a few days or so. If not better in 10 days see a doctor.

i have red spots on the soft palate of my mouth and i think there is yellowing where my tonsils were. there's possible white spots on back of throat?

Sore throat or not?: If sore throat, go see your Family Doc to discuss testing for Strep. If not, this may be normal for you.

Canker sore: Supportive measures should allow that to heal. If pain worsens, or if sores spread your doctor could consider prescription medicines.

Needs to be seen: This is mayor may not be normal.  Without actually being able to see what you describe, we have no way of knowing which one it is.  Have you dentist take a look at it.

Possible allergies: Typical allergic reactions that affect the mouth and tongue lead to itching and swelling.  Red spots without itching may be a different issue.  An examination by a physician can help sort this out.

Blood vessel: Due to the color, it may be swollen blood vessel under the surface protruding like a bump or a venus lake which is a swelling caused by bleeding under skin. Many causes like trama, weakness in blood vessel, etc. They generally are not painful or serious.  If they get too enlarged, uncomfortable, or cause issues with speech or eating, they can be surgically removed or reduced.

Red spots on calvee: You may have a skin infection from shaving too deeply.  Clean and then apply antibiotic like neosporum.  Protect with band-aid until healed.  If spots get worse or spread, call your doctor.

Get checked: Without knowing more about your  health and habits it's impossible to say what is causing your "glossitis." most minor things are self limited and go away in a week or two.

i have a few red spots in the middle of my tongue and its white all around. i cleaned my tongue today and it started bleeding. what could it be? could it be dangerous?

Irritation?: If you have done anything to irritate your tounge, then no, it probably isn't dangerous, but a red and white lesion that bleeds on brushing without a cause could be dangerous.  I would refer you to the oral surgeon to have it checked out.
