Absolutely!: The color is perfectly normal. What you don't want to see is white, grey or very light tan color (acholic stool). This would indicate a problem with flow of bile from the liver to the intestines.

What age?: The key pieces of information here are: how old is your daughter? What are the specifics of the vomiting (color, frequency, progressive or projectile, relation to feeds etc), is she making wet diapers? Your pediatrician's office is going to have somebody on-call that can get these details and better help guide you.  Give them a call and get this sorted. Good luck

Breast fed: Babies normally have thin gravy type stools. They may be seedy at times , mushy , soft , pasty  or formed , so what you just describe is normal . No need for concerns.

Poop is fine/?vomit: Yellow seedy poop would be declared "normal" baby poop/stool. No need to fret.  Vomiting can still be a normal infant phenomena due to mild reflux. Check with your doctor to ensure the weight/growth is progressing in a normal fashion.  Overfeeding with too large of a volume at one time may be the issue.  Smaller amounts over a shorter period of time may help. Upright positioning  after meals.

Sounds healthy: Babies cry for many reasons, not just pain. Do your best to make the baby comfortable, clean, held when needed, and fed every 3-4 hours, you are doing a good job and should not worry. Be safe

Maybe: It could be normal, or could be problem with the formula.  If there is a lot of gas, it can be from crying or the milk.  If crying, try burping her after crying to get the air out.  If that is not helping then try a different formula.  Your doctor can help with this.

May need to test the: If breast feeding this may be normal but if truly seeing mucus you may want to have the stool tested. Allergies to formula could be causing some inflammation and a change may be needed. Some simple tests could help evaluate.

my 6 week old son has had 3 diapers of grey stool.soft, clay like, starts out grey and then it turn into the normal seedy yellow stool. is this normal?

Short answer, yes: His GI tract is still getting used to digestion.  As long as the stool normalized as you say, i don't think there is a problem.  Similar things happened with our 3 kids, all resolved by next bowel movement, was transient, and not associated with any other symptoms like pain, crying, vomiting, feeding difficulty, etc.  If this is the case, no worries.  If any other symptoms occur, see pediatrician.
