: It is unlikely unless you have underlying immune deficiency. Prevent constipation to help with anal fissure. You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Yeast infection: Are you referring to female vaginal/genital yeast infection? And if it can spread to kidneys and blood?  If yes, then your answer is no! vaginal yeast infection is a localized benign disease and does not spread! BUT kidneys and blood can get infected by fungal diseases rarely in immunocompromised patients or in patients with long term intravenous accesses/lines, or with long term Foley catheters!

Yes: It can happen but it's not common unless the infection is pretty severe.

Male sxs: Men with yeast infections may have burning or itching at the urethra (hole in the penis). There may be a red rash as well.  Monistat can be applied to the tip of the penis twice a day. If not resolving in a week, see physician.

Resistant yeast: Sometimes yeast infections can recur-- especially if the conditions that allowed it to form in the first place are still there (uncontrolled diabetes, antibiotic use, vaginal factors etc). That said, yeast can also be resistant to anti fungal treatment. This means you may need a higher dose of the original therapy or a different med that would bypass the resistance. Sounds like you may need an MD.

Below: The symptoms are similar from both types of vaginal infections.
However, if you cont to have symptoms, you should contact your DR as they have the lab results from your last exam.
