Wrist pain : X-ray and an MRI / mr arthrogram of the wrist should have been performed for wrist pain lasting 5-10 months. Musculoskeletal ultrasound can also provide valuable information. An underlying cartilaginous tear or tendon disruption may be present. Arthroscopic surgery may help determine and treat the cause at the same time. Depending on the cause, prp & prolotherapy may be helpful.

Several: Creakiness in a joint can be a bony abnormality, fluid build up, or soft tissue injury such as tendinous or ligamentous.  Maintain your activity, ice the joint if it's hot or sore, and occasionally Acetaminophen or an NSAID could be used for pain.  Creakiness typically goes away though.

Depends on injury.: If it's a simple sprain, you should be fully functional in 10-14 days with complete resolution of symptoms in 4-6 weeks. A fracture can take longer, and some soft tissue overuse injuries can have an even longer course. Rest, stabilization of the injury, gentle range of motion when you can tolerate without worsening pain, and pain medicines as needed can help you feel better soonest.

Depends: Speed of recovery depends on the type and severity of the injury. More severe injuries, such as a wrist fracture or ligament injury may require closed treatment casting or surgery if indicated.  Consult your doctor for further evaluation.
