If you are having jaw pain as well, I would consider getting checked by an oral maxillofacial surgeon or at least another dentist to exam you and confirm this is nothing to worry about and does not require treatment

Jaw pain: It is most likely TM joint arthritis. This can be due to many causes. Malocclusion of the teeth can lead to this. Try eating soft foods for a week or two and see if it improves.
