Determine the cause: Is the pain associated with a specific tooth? Is it your gingiva? A strained muscle? TMJ pain? Please repost with more specifics.

Examination: The best way to relieve jaw pain is to first determine the cause. To determine if it's a joint problem, of neuro-muscular origin, infected gums, a blocked salivary gland duct, in infected tooth, or other reason, the cause has to be determined in order to be able to choose the correct treatment t. Please don't try to self diagnose. You need professional care, not guess-work
