Jaw pain............: The term "jaw pain" can refer specifically to pain associated with the actual temporomandibular joints of the head, commonly referred to as tmj, although it is more often a term used by patients to express a vague or specific pain in the upper or lower jaws of the head. Its cause may be related to problems with the teeth, infections, muscle spasms, periodontal abscess or a host of other issues.
