Trust your providers: Your question is a wee bit broad to answer in 400 characters.  In a nutshell, most of your care is provided by your labor nurse, anesthesia providers are your friend, your IV is there to save your life in case of hemorrhage, and your doctor or midwife is charged with making decisions in the best interest of you and your baby.  You may feel a loss of control so you must trust your providers.

Not likely: This question has been studied rather carefully.  To my knowledge, there is no association or increased risk of bearing down during delivery in a woman with myopia and consequential retinal detachment; neither the full thickness type (rhegmatogenous) or serous type.  The woman should be examined carefully by an ophthalmologist before delivery, particularly with htn, preeclampisa or other problems.

: Depends on the STD. Bloodborne STD's like syphilis will transfer to baby during pregnancy. Chlamydia or gonorrhea infect the outlet &amp; transfer if they are born through an infected outlet.

Probably: Dextrocardia and situs inversus will not cause any issues, although things may be backwards. However, I am not sure what you mean by no atrial wall. This could be a serious abnormality. The heart needs 4 chambers (rooms) separated by the right doors (valves or pregnancy could have some difficulties. Please provide more information.

why do people in the u.s. need medicine to have a safe pregnancy/delivery when women in other countries can do it without any doctors or medicine at all?

Can be done, but...: 100 years ago, 1 in 4 women in the USA died in Childbirth.   Now, the rate is .28 per 1000.  This is due mostly to the availability of doctors, blood, antibiotics and c/sections.    Its true that women in, say, Sierra Leone, frequently give birth without medicine or doctors but the maternal mortality rate is 40 times higher (11 per 1,000 women).    It can (and is) being done but carries some risk.

Weight gain: The key to gaining weight is increasing caloric intake. You will need to take in 500-1000 more calories &amp;#40;than what you normally eat&amp;#41; per day to gain on the average one pound &amp;#40;lb&amp;#41; per week. Choose food that is dense in calories and gradually increase your intake. also, you will need to take around one gram/lb of your wright of protein to gain muscle mass. One egg provides 6-7 grams of protein

No: You can have a vaginal delivery as well. It is important to be closely observed and to deliver in a hospital in case an emergency cesarean section needs to be performed.
