i have tmj, and at the moment i'm suffering with my wisdom tooth but how can it be taken out when i can't open my jaw more than 2cm?

Call the oral surgeon or dentist. If there are no contraindications, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory meds may help relieve your discomfort--or warm compresses.

You possibly have the stiffness from your temporomandibular joint (TMJ) rather than from the regional anesthesia. If you do not have pain, keep moving your jaw frequently for overcoming the stiff joint.

It is normal to have stiffness, swelling and inability to open your mouth 24-48 hours after a wisdom tooth extraction...If it has been longer than two days please contact the dentist or oral surgeon who extracted your tooth.

i have this tooth problem and am not sure if it is tmj or wisdom tooth .my jaw cracks on the right side when i open or yawn but hurts on the left ?

TMJ : Sounds more to me that you are dealing with TMJ issues. You can be having both problems at the same time so it would be advisable to see your dentist if pain is severe. For TMJ antiinflammatory meds like Ibuprofen usually help with problem. Feel better soon.
