Roughly: A standard coctail-size drink (one shot fo alcohol) of any liquor contains roughly 200 food calories. One glass of wine or one 12-oz. Beer is the same.

Good Q: I would think if the temperature used is high enough to change the alcohol from liquid to gas, and the gas can escape, then you have lost the calories of those alcohol molecules.  "cook off" effect.

Not all buzzes equal: 1.5 oz of liquor, 4-5 oz wine, 12 oz beer in US has generally same alcohol content. While controversial no alcohol is probably best but generally accepted 1-2/day max may be safe. Health benefits may vary, red wine generally accepted as better. In past showed greater association of cataracts with beer and hard liquor.  Bottom line occasionally one won't hurt. Don't save up for all 14 on weekend

SVT: As far as we know SVT sensitive to alcohol is sensitive to alcohol. There are content/volume differences between beer, alcohol and vodka but I'm unaware of any studies to show a difference in triggering frequency.

If you are worried: About just the calories, you do not have your head screwed on quite right.  If you drink a pint of vodka every day for 10 days, I am far more concerned you are developing significant alcoholism, or at the very least, serious problem drinking, and are putting your self at risk for many problems. A pint of vodka has about 1200 calories, and depends what you are mixing with it, if anything. Get help.

Danger!!!: Please don't mix those meds . They are dangerous together and as you report the results can be unpredictable . Talk to your doctor about sleeping meds . Much better choices out there.

Excess alcohol: Yes you drank too much for the first time. You probably created a gastritis and that is why you have blood in the vomit.

The : The sudden weight gain, swelling and low back pain seem to point to a kidney issue. It is possible that your kidney function has decreased, which is causing your body to not filter fluid effectively and instead retain large amounts fluids (leading to swelling in the body). However, the swelling can also be attributed to congestive heart failure, where your heart is not functioning properly, so blood and fluid gets backed up into the body system. Seeing a doctor is crucial. If the pain becomes too severe to tolerate, it is prudent to go to the emergency department.

i am starting ozempic .25 & bupropion. on lisinopril & lo lo estin fe. can i have 1 drink a week such as vodka tonic or glass of wine? also can i do botox safely with these meds?
