: Using temazepam with eszopiclone may increase dizziness, confusion, drowsiness, impairment of concentration, judgment and thinking. Lunesta is a non diazepine which works as hypnotic  to initiate sleep &amp; maintains sleep, If you took temazepam one day, it is ok . Taking few pistachios before sleep and put charging devices away from bedroom may help better sleep.. Hope it helps.

Why would you?: Why would anyone take sleeping pills (otc or otherwise) before school? When you are in school, you want to be awake and alert, and sleeping pills will do the opposite. Incidentally, zoloft (sertraline) is neither a sleeping pill nor otc.

Pills are not answer: You probably are burned out on the pills.  You sound like you are abusing them. They will stop working the more you take them.  It is time to get a new approach.  It may be time to leave western medicine and all of the pills you are taking and learn how to sleep again naturally; to prevent your anxiety with exercise, yoga, breathing exercises. Please get some help with your addictions.

Rebound: Sleep rebound can be pretty intense after sleep deprivation.  Sometimes this can take the form of sleep paralysis which is very frightening at times.  Also just rebound of dreams, very vivid and intense.

Early to bed - early: To rise. No napping. Retire ; rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark ; cool ; use only for sex ; sleep. Turn off tv. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs ; no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized ; finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Can try warm milk, chamomile tea or melatonin along w light reading, warm bath or lavender.
