Size alone: is not a reliable indicator of whether or not a lymph node is pathologic.  The overall shape/morphology is also important.  Lymph nodes of that size in the inguinal areas, if they have normal morphology, may be nothing to worry about. Talk to your doc about what the results mean in your particular case.

PET/CT: May be useful to differentiate between a likelyinflammatory/reactive process, mesenteric  sclerosis, and the less likely possibility of lymphoma.

Yes, it usually does: Unless the chest size is very big, the ct scan shows the axillary area quite well. So the lymph nodes, if enlarged will show up on a chest ct scan.

cluster of lymph nodes on neck. ct scan shows nothing abnormal however i am still worried.do i irritate them if i keep touching them?

: You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. 
Occasional touching will not irritate the nodes.

Yes: That is rare & they are not necessarily enlarged when they show.  You need a gyn exam & further evaluation to be clear on the diagnosis.

i have 2 lymph nodes i can feel on back right side of neck and what to know if it is normal i also had a ct scan that shows no abnormalities but does show lymph nodes measuring up to 9mm but everything else is normal?

Multiple reasons: What other symptoms to get CT scan. The presence of node enlargement may indicate infection, inflammation in the area, or even presenc of cancer nearby or in the lymph nodes themselves. Need more information

No, or yes: Ct scans will show lumps that are present at the time of the study.  It could also s how nodes that are too small or deep to be felt.

Accepted Answer

Probably: Ct scans would show enlarges nodes in the neck, chest and abdomen.  Visualization of the chest and abdomen can be improved by vascular contrast agents which is technically not an angiogram.  Abdominal images are also more specific if you drink oral contrast to delineate bowel structures as compared to potental nodes.
