Tea Tree Oil: I'm not sure about mangosteen or nutmeg powder for ringworm, but tea tree oil has been shown to help cure athlete's foot nearly as well as a prescription cream.  You'd want to apply it twice daily for at least 2 weeks and be sure to keep the skin clean and dry.  

I would only try this on the body or feet for a few weeks, not the scalp; if not better, you should see your doctor.

hi i have what looks like eczema or like a ringworm in the corner of my right eye its spreading underneath as well. what is it and is it treatable?

Get evaluated: Neither eczema or ringworm will affect the eyeball itself. The skin of the lids may have such a process &amp; treatment would be similar to those of the rest of the body. It would be prudent to have this looked at, so close to the eye so treatment can be specific &amp; quickly reduce risk of scarring.

4 year old has one spot of ringworm on his arm. will calamine lotion help with itching? is this treatable at home or do we need to go to pediatrician

Ring worm: Tinea corporis (ring worm) is a fungal infection, and there are several over the counter medications/creams that my help.  Calamine lotion is drying and may help with an itch, but with the OTC creams as stated, they should suffice to treat the area.  Best wishes.

Skin infections: Mupirocin ointment (marketed as bactroban) is an antibacterial ointment you put on your skin when you have a skin infection. It is generally effective against bacteria like s. Aureus and s. Pyogenes, which commonly live on everyone's skin. Sometimes, these bacteria can cause an infection.
Make sure to go to you physician if you think you have a skin infection.
