No: True "ringworm" is caused by a fungal infection. Bactroban (mupirocin) is a topical antibiotic that works well for bacterial infections, but is not helpful for fungal infections. You can try over the counter Miconazole products, but may need to see your dermatologist for a prescription anti fungal.
