Constipation?: I'm assuming that you mean glycerin suppositories for constipation.  Every once in a while these are ok to give.  If you are giving one every few days you should try and figure out how to relieve the constipation.  Likely you have started some solids by now.  Consider giving a small amount of undiluted fruit juice 2-4 oz or a smushed up fresh fruit. Just stay away from bananas.

6 month old grandson has infant nystmus can this be caused by ranadine he took for acid reflux?

Unlikely!: Nystagmus  is unlikely to be caused by  ranitidine. It could be congenital meaning present since birth or acquired later due to several causes. He needs to be seen by a pediatric optjomologist  and may be a pediatric neurologist also. You have to rule out vision problem and neurological problems.

Infant botulism: I am sure honey is a small component in your lotion so not a risk but contact Poison control if she ingested a large quantity

High Impact Twisting: Spiral fractures of long bones like femur are not common in infants, require large, torsion force, and should always raise suspicion of abuse. Detailed history and skeletal bone survey for any other fractures is warranted. Spiral fractures can occur in accidental, unintentional trauma.

Possibly normal: At six month eye coordination is beginning to be stabilized but there is still some tendency to wander while good central fixation develops.  If one eye is consistently out of alignment (check the red reflex on photos for one eye being consistently black), then evaluation might be in order to eliminate some structural problem.Ordinary eye alignment issues are usually handled at an older age.

Yes it is..: Flu vaccination is indeed recommended for virtually everyone age 6-months and older, ulness specific contraindication such as severe egg allergies. Like all meds/injections, they carry risk, but the risk from flu vaccine is small--injection site soreness, mild flu-like symptoms etc...But the benefit is significant: it saves many lives yearly. Good filter & ask: It is wise to minimize your baby's exposure to second-hand smoke. Have you told your neighbors about this problem? They might be willing to step outside to smoke-they may not but it is worth a try!

Medicines : calpol is s fever reducer and is safe if given in correct dose and when needed. Tixilic  is a cough syrup and should not be given in &lt; 2 yrs baby.

Cold : Cold and cough medicine should not be used in a child under the age of 4 years. First of all, make sure your baby is seen by his doctor. There are certain conditions that cause cough that need antibiotics or steroids (i.E pneumonia, reactive airway, bronchitis). In the meantime a humidifier or cool mist vaporizer in the room where the baby sleeps may help. Also pediatric nasal saline drops helps with congestion, which can help decrease the cough.
