Maybe Thrush: HArd to tell without seeing but it may be a yeast infection- oral candidiasis or "thrush", which can be from taking steroids, including the inhaled ones used in asthma. If it is, there are easy treatments.
Get it looked at.

Jaundice: Liver or gallbladder issues can cause the tongue to appear yellow.  Also geographic tongue or black hairy tongue can cause a yellowing of the tongue. Bleeding can be due to trauma, ulcers or canker sores. It definitely sounds like you need to see a dentist for evaluation.

my tongue is white at the back, with a slight yellow tint in the middle. so i try to clean it with my tooth brush, taking the color away from the places i can reach. but at the end of the next day it's the same color again.my gums bleed when brushing?

Bleeding: Use a sterile gauze or a tea bag applied to the site with pressure for 30 minutes.

See your doc: See your doc or nurse that manages your blood thinners.  A tongue will stop bleeding on its own usually.  Your blood may be too thin and can be dangerous.  
A tea bag can help, as well as direct pressure with gauze, but i can't stress enough to see your doc.

Yes: As long as the cut is not large, you can use it.  It wont taste good at all, and may not work well due to the washing effect of your saliva.  If the cut is large, skip the pencil and see a medical professional.

No: The color depends on the amount of blood so if very little (which is expected) it will have a yellowish tone to it.

Return ASAP: The tissue inside mouth is delicate ; easily damaged. The good news is once the offending cause is removed, it heals rapidly!  it is likely that your retainer has minor but pointy edge somewhere. Please return to your dentist asap. Once the retainer is adjusted you should feel better almost right away. This type of imperfection in retainer is hardly visible, and post-insert adjustments are common.
