Constipation: You can give 3 tsps of mineral oil at bedtime, lots of water, 4 ozs of prune juice. 
Also, you can give Miralax 1 tsp in 8 ops of water at bedtime. Less milk and starches in the diet:
rice, noodles, puddings.

Define "concerned": This is certainly not uncommon or suggestive of a bad disease. It does suggest the need to add non-constipating agents like fruits (peaches,plumbs,pineapple,pears, etc. ) to the diet. Avoiding known constipating agents like apples/applesauce/breads/rice/bananas would also help. Prune juice is a natural loosening agent that could help within a few days.

Need oral laxative?: Each child with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. A pediatrician's evaluation is needed. We do not want a child to get chronic constipation. If constipation is due to slow movement of food and poop through the gut, then things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber-plus-water, Miralax (polyethylene glycol), senna extract, milk of magnesia, etc...

Fiber and hydration: You should consider increasing your fiber intake and should drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil for increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

Constipation: Constipation in infants is usually due to diet. He should be eating 3 meals 2 snacks with 500 ml daily of formula (given after he eats) His diet should consist of pureed, soft veggies, fruits and cereals with some meat. Give 60ml daily of prune or pear juice per day to soften stool. Don't use Lacson, he is too young for this. If the weather is very dry, give 60 ml daily of water.

Lump on anus: If it is at the very base of your spine it MAY be a pilonidal cyst.  It MAY be another type of cyst or something else. Eat more fiber: Adequate fiber (25-36g/d), plenty of fluid & regular physical activity are important for regular bowel function. Osmotic laxatives are also available over-the-counter - just ask your pharmacist. If you haven't had a colonoscopy in over 10 years, it's time. Definitely go see your family doc if you've noted any unintentional weight loss or change in appearance of your stool.

Constipation: Not uncommon for a toddler to be constipated due to the typical toddler diet.  If he eats a lot of "white foods" (rice, potato, bread) and drinking a lot of milk these will predispose to constipation.  Fruits, vegetables, will help constipation
