on pregnancy tests, my lines are opposite. the control line indicating im pregnant is really dark and the test line is lighter. what does this mean?

Depends on the brand: Check out the package insert that came with the test. Inside there will be a clear cut drawing showing how that particular brand works and how the results should read. If unclear results then repeat tomorrow morning. If it is still unclear then schedule a visit for confirmation.

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

yesterday night before going to bed i had a very dark line from my ovulation test, this morning after taking a test the dark line is no longer dark, it is now lighter than the control line. do i still stand high chances of getting pregnant ?

: Ovulation testing measures LH surge, which is very short, so a follow up test might show a less intense indicator line, based on the rapid decrease of available LH from the pre-ovulatory peak.  This of course does not guarantee pregnancy, but only the opportunity for pregnancy , which is based on a number of other factors.

If testing over a few days, and getting positive lines, the tests are considered positive even if the control lines are faint lines. One can contact her primary care doctor (or her Ob-Gyn doctor if she has one) to ask what the next step is. Usually, women take their prenatal vitamins and schedule an appointment with the doctor.

This : This would be a discussion to have with your dermatologist.  There are some fading and depigmentation creams available, but these would be prescription products to be used only under the care and supervision of a dermatologist.  I hope that helps.

: It may be acanthosis nigracans due to insulin resistance. I would suggest you see a doctor online or in person who can take a look at this for you.
