A member asked:

Yesterday night before going to bed i had a very dark line from my ovulation test, this morning after taking a test the dark line is no longer dark, it is now lighter than the control line. do i still stand high chances of getting pregnant ?

Ovulation testing measures LH surge, which is very short, so a follow up test might show a less intense indicator line, based on the rapid decrease of available LH from the pre-ovulatory peak. This of course does not guarantee pregnancy, but only the opportunity for pregnancy , which is based on a number of other factors.
