On pregnancy tests, my lines are opposite. the control line indicating im pregnant is really dark and the test line is lighter. what does this mean?

Depends on the brand: Check out the package insert that came with the test. Inside there will be a clear cut drawing showing how that particular brand works and how the results should read. If unclear results then repeat tomorrow morning. If it is still unclear then schedule a visit for confirmation.
