Not very likely: That amount of force would be unlikely to break anything though it could strain neck muscles and be very uncomfortable.

Uncertain: Generally, clots that lodge in cerebral and retinal (back of eye) vessels do break up or "recanalize", as we say.  This may be less true of pucholesterol crystal clots.  More importantly, the part of the retina that the blood vessel feeds may have been deprived of blood flow for too long and may not recover even if blood flow is restored.  The medicine you are taking is to prevent further emboli.

: It could be that you sweat a lot with activity and it is skin irritated from this.  You can take claritin for a week and see if you can break the cycle of it being there.

Warm compresses: Cold tends to make muscles tighten more; moist heat increases blood flow and decreases pain and spasm. Mild range-of-motion exercises help stretch & relax the muscles. Nsaids (aleve/motrin etc if tolerated by stomach ) can reduce pain & inflammation. Do not mix with blood thinners) magnesium (low dose) can help relax muscles. Therapeutic massage is helpful.

You're Normal: If you are not hurting and it doesn't hurt when your press that is normal, nothing to worry about.  If you are in pain and can't find the pain when your press, then it suggests something deeper is the cause of your pain and needs further evaluation.

Sign of problems ??: If this is a dark discoloration of your skin that forms a long line at back of your neck, it can mean problems. Those that are getting heavy  may find this as a signal of a pre diabetic state. Check with your doc.

Tense muscles: Most likely tense muscles. Massage or heat may help. Common problem.
