May be tendon: You may have tendon issues. The popping could suggest that you have increased flexibility with hypermobility sometimes known as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This is a mechanical issue with increased elasticity of your tissue. Exercise is one of the best therapies for this

It is possible: Gout involves the accumulation of uric acid in your blood.  It despots in joints, most commonly the big toe.  It could very well be that is causing this.  Since you are suspicious of this, get it confirmed by your physician.  A blood test can see if your uric acid levels are high.  Medications, such as nsaids can relieve the acute symptoms of gout.

: 18 hours is not unusual but you can also present circulatory conditions so not absorb the local anesthetic as quickly. If epinephrine was used 24 hours are not unusual in a “normal” foot.  If any further concerns call the surgeon. He is best source of information about the surgery.

Foot / knee clicking: There are several reasons that this can be.  There is no way of knowing from this exchange but you do not have to remain in the dark or put up with it. 
Most of the time it is related to inflimation, poor alignment, sprain/strain or even a partial tendon tear. 
Go see your podiatrist or orthopedic doctor and in the meantime avoid activities that hurt or bother the areas.

Clean and cover: Clean it with normal saline.  Do not use peroxide.  Cover it with a sterile bandage and put antibiotic ointment on it.  Treat it like this for about 5-10 days or until the blister has dried at its base.  Do not allow it to open air, as the risk for a staph infection is high with broken blisters.

Ligamentous?: What kind of sports are you into?
Have you been jumping or some type of running?
Might want to stop for a couple of days.  If this persist should see an ortho to get a film and see if anything else is going on.
