Not enough info: to be able to provide a lot of advice. Have you injured it? Tried NSAID's?  Considered evaluation by a podiatrist?

Maybe: Gravity, position, standing on your legs can cause a lot of the vein swelling.  If you become painful orbecome excessively swollen you may want to get examined for possible varicose veins or blood clots.

May be serious: I see this question submitted twice. I'm guessing you are very concerned. If you are having any shortness of breath or chest pressure, or jaw ache, I would take an aspirin and call an ambulance now. Feeling a bounding pulse can mean heart palpitations. If you are completely comfortable then it may not be important. Women' heart attack symptoms are sometimes unrecognized. Be cautious. Good luck!

Feet discomfort: This symptom suggests a peripheral neuropathy. Causes include vitamin B12 deficiency, diabetes,toxic reactions to certain medications or other metabolic problems. An neurologist is best to evaluate and advise you. Appropriate testing will be done.

Depends: Swelling naturally occurs with legs down and engorgement of the veins can look purple.  Elevate your legs and see if the color changes.  If so, it's associated with venous reflux.  If the foot remains swollen, this may be an emergency that the circulation is compromised where a clot or an infection could be present.  If in doubt, have it checked out.  A podiatry consult would be good.

i got a pulling sensation on the bottom of my foot, there is now discoloration and it looks a tad swollen, & still burning, could it be a busted vein?

Good guess: That is bleeding from a torn tissue. Many causes, like a severe landing on the footer or striking an obstacle-a sharp edge of some sort.  Blood sings, swells, turns blue then yellow and fades as the swelling diminishes. Warm soaks help a little. Other minor causes in older people.
