why do my feet turn red when i stand or cross my legs for too long while sitting. i also get headaches everyday, all day. i dont know if they would b?

Lack of exercise: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

why are my feet always so red and bruised like? i have no medical issues but  do have bunions. how can i fix them and get rid of the redness

Accepted Answer

Bunion surgery: Is the redness where the bunions are (near your big toe joint)?  Do they hurt?   Have you tried wearing wider shoes?  If this is still a  painful issue, then you would need to consider bunion surgery.  Bunion surgery is very effective, but is not to be taken lightly. It will take a minimum of 6 weeks to heal enough so you can walk with an athletic shoe and several more weeks for other shoes.

: With exercise you will increase your heart rate  and thus increasing the blood flow to the extremities.  The increase blood flow causes the red color. The veins increase in size because the  increase blood flow returns to the heart

It is unsusual: But obviously pressure effect . Since the your feet bear the whole weight of your body , there is a lot of pressure on them . If you stand for long time there could be stasis of blood  and you may have some redness though very uncommon. I would suggest to see your pcp since it is unusual symptom.

when i take melatonin to help me sleep the bottom of my feet get red unbearably itchy appear swollen. but only after taking afew nights in a row. why?

Maybe allergic: Make sure the melatonin you are taking was synthesized in a laboratory, vs being animal derived.  Melatonin from animal sources may include contaminants that you might react to.  Also, talk to your doctor about this as there can be interactions with medications you may be taking.  Also make sure you are taking the proper dose.

Family practice : Redness usually means inflammation or warmth from being over heated. Being blue or cold means not getting enough blood to your feet. Check with your dr   he may want to check your pulses circulation or have you see a podiatrist.

A picture is worth: A thousand words. Sometimes this is secondary to heme deposition in the skin. But, without seeing hard to comments as there are many differential diagnosis for this. Shamberg s "disease" would be an example.

after drinking a few bourbons the bottom of my feet get hot red & so itchy i have to scratch them. why is this?

: Regular use of alcohol can lead to liver damage. Foot swelling, redness, itchiness can all be symptoms of this. Talk to your Dr about getting a test to measure the health of your liver and try to minimize your alcohol consumption to less than 3 drinks per week.

Unusual: It would be unusual for you to have a neuropathy at your age, but without additional historical facts (past medical history, family history etc.) hard to gauge.  The symptoms may reflect something that is neurologic (e.g. Small fiber neuropathy) or hematologic so seeing your doctor for a referral might be helpful.
