how long or how many weeks does your body stay at hyperthyroid state? my tsh is .22 , my synthroid was decreased a week ago fr 100 to 88mcg. i still have symptoms of tachy, fatigue, sleeplessness, some anxiety?

Thyroid metabolism: This will depend on where the hyperT is coming from &amp; your symptom response time.  On the average thyroid metabolism eats up thyroid hormone about 10% per days from the blood but some may stay in the cells longer. I would keep a diary &amp; track your thyroid hormone level &amp; adjust the dose till TSH is in normal range and you feel normal. We can measure the blood TSH.  Only u can tell Dr how u feel.

my tsh blood level is .9 which is borderline too low according to the range and am suffering from hyperthyroid symptoms could i still be hyperthyroid?

Hyperthyroid: A low TSH is indicative of an excess of thyroid hormone in your blood. If you're having symptoms of hyperthyroidism, it certainly can indicate that your level is not yet to the level that is ideal for your body and may need further treatment. Repeating the test after a period of time can also help, looking for a trend.

was hyperthyroid w/symptoms. skipped some synthroid (thyroxine) and decreased dose (at rec. of  endo) but two weeks later still have twitches. how long to level?

Synthroid (thyroxine): How was your hyperthyroidism treated? Synthroid (thyroxine) is prescribed when your thyroid hormone level is low. 
Did you have radiation therapy or thyroid surgery?

How much synthroid (thyroxine) are you taking now. Perhaps you could break your pill in half and take that once a day.
If that works - fine!

If not another examination of your thyroid might be the next move.

my labs are borderline hyperthyroidism. is it possible to have this and still gain weight? maybe the hyperthyroidism symptoms make me feel weak which makes me eat often. maybe low dose treatment may help weakness therefore ill eat less?

Need to examine: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your perception of hyperthyroidism and weight gain may be unrelated.

Chest pain: It is hard to answer your question, other than to say "see your doctor".  If your thyroid blood tests are indeed normal, then the symptoms are not from that.  Is this anxiety?  Or is it from coronary artery disease.  See your doctor.

: In general, no two people react to medication the same way. Often nit takes your Physician time to titrate the optimum dose for you. Also consider that you may have concurrent but unrelated imbalances. Has anyone suggested that you see a specialist Endocrinologist, especially as you seem to have an eccrine imbalance.

my wife has tingling in her left arm during a bm. she gets short of breath and light headed. hyperthyroidism was diagnosed, but still has symptoms.

BM, SOB, L arm pain: Have an EKG&lt; see a Dr. do a thyroid profile, do a treadmill test.
She may have coronary disease, and ischemic heart failure. Do a lipid profile and Glucose Hb+ AC1
She must see an endocrinologist and be on therapy as required. Have a cardiologist rule out coronary disease.
She is very young for all this issues, any family history? or heavy smoking?

See doctor : For a specific medical diagnosis just and treatment you need to see a physician the one who’s treating you for your thyroid would be the best. Sometimes symptoms of thyroid disease can persist for a period of time even after the hormone levels are normal with thyroid replacement treatment

Many, many things: Most overweight people think/hope they have an under active thyroid gland, so doc can give them thyroid replacement and they'll lose the weight (i remember one case in 40 years practice). Many people think they have overactive thyroid when pulse is fast, palpitations in chest, sweat a lot, diarrhea frequently, lose weight or hair, ...Most don't, but check. I do thyroid screening tests routinely.
