i have had recurring ulcers on my tongue and left tonsil. i always seem to get another one on my left tonsil the day after i eat hot sauce. could this?

Yes: There are many causes of ulcers including certain spicey foods and medications.   There are also infectious organisms that can cause oral ulcers.    It might be best to avoid alcohol, spicey foods, and NSAID's for a bit.   Other causes of ulcers of the Gi tract include citric acid that can be found in candies and fruits.

i get re occurring ulcers on my tongue i change my tooth brush regular and use mouthwash. what can be causing these ulcers?

Ulcers on tongue: Recurring apthous ulcers have no definitive cause. Possible causes are stress, injury/trauma, diet (acidic foods),smoking, acid reflux or other GI diseases, allergies, viral infections, vitamin deficiencies, hormone imbalance.
Check with your dentist or medical doctor for an examination and diagnosis of posssible causes.

after having leisions ulcers on my tongue i have noticed i get dehydrated and the nearly healed infections hurt from my being thirsty ?

Painful ulcers: Tongue ulcers are quite painful. Drinking lots of ice water helps a great deal.  Milk of Magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) is often quite soothing. You doctor can prescribe soothing products to reduce the pain.

i always get pimple under my tongue, what can be the cause of it? usually one at a time, approx 1-2mm in diameter, afrer days it turns into an ulcer.

Pimple under tongue: These bumps are usually related to salivary glands either a blocked duct that swells called a mucocele or a ruptured duct called a ranula. Cause is not clear, but the ulceration at the end is not unusual as this is traumatic to the tissue, albeit minor in most cases. If it continues happening it could be related to diet or meds side effects. You may want to consult your dr.

Oral hygiene...: ...Appears to play a major role in canker sores on tongue. Check the ingredient label on your toothpaste to see whether it contains sodium lauryl sulfate (sls). Try an alternative product without sls and compare the results. Try an antimicrobial mouthwash, and a steroid rinse or gel (which requires a prescription). Minimize trauma in the mouth such as over-aggressive brushing.

Tonsil stones: If it’s sore you could have a tonsil abscess ( infection in the tonsil) . If it is not sore it may be a normal variant with stones in it. . You should have it looked at by primary or ENT Doctor.

Bad spot: Not a good spot for an ulcer.  Get it checked by a dentist.  This is especially important if its been there more than 2 weeks.

Part of same virus?: You should have more symptoms if it's viral. Do you have a fever? rash? (On the inside of the mouth, perhaps?) There are many possibilities - herpangina, herpes stomatitis, even some diseases for which immunizations exist (measles, e.g.) Did you get all routine vaccinations?
