my brother fainted after seeing an image/video he found disburbing. he also said he probably should of drank or ate more that day.  would him staying fully hydrated and not hungry avoid him feeling faint after seeing something he found disturbing?

Fainting: Depend on what the details were the day or so before fainting.  If seeing blood was the issue this usually goes away with repeated exposure.  My lab partner in medical school fainted when I drew his blood and then he fainted when drawing my blood. But he became a surgeon.

Though fainting is certainly common in young woman, people that faint should be evaluated to make sure there is nothing more serious going on.  And having other complaints--like loss of complexion--makes evaluation even more important.  Drinking plenty of fluids, do your best to eat, and again, please see a doctor.

Those are: Hormones released to keep your blood sugar normal. Don't worry, you're probably overweight and your body is correcting your blood sugar. It won't drop below normal and you'll never be in any danger. Don't eat to excess when you have these symptoms or you'll gain further weight and make the problem worse.

BP low, then not: You need to have this formally evaluated to find out why the BP fluctuates.  You might simply be dehydrated or having issues with glycemic changes.  But you could also have some sort of heart rhythm problem and that requires some testing, staring with good ecg, then possibly cardiac stress testing or holter monitor.  Talk to your practitioner.
