Doctor can check: People shouldn't look pale when recovering from colds or other minor viral illnesses. If a person looks pale compared to usual, and has few or no ill symptoms, her doctor can take a look, do an exam, and perhaps check a blood test to make sure there is no anemia. Sometimes viral illnesses can cause a drop in blood count for a while. Most of the time, that doesn't happen.

Get him to sit still: The biggest problem with 9 y/o boys is getting them to stop moving for a second so you can get a good look. Fortunately, most of them have short hair (justin bieber notwithstanding). Lice don't like short hair, they like to hide, so taking a flat stick (like a clean popsicle stick), go through section by section looking for either lice or small nits attached to the base of the hair follicles.

Comfortable humidity: Your exhaled-air is perfect in moisture balance thus comfortable to the nose during colder/drier months as in many nights of winter. Covering the head traps moisture and thus more comfortable to breath via nose. The sheets are quite thin and air can pass through with ease, thus not concerning for oxygenation problem. It's possible: Allergic reaction take on different faces, and can be somewhat delayed. So it is indeed possible that a sting in the past few days could be leading to facial swelling today. Recommend trying benadryl, (diphenhydramine) but if having any difficulty breathing, swallowing needs to be seen today.

my 9 year old son has lumps behind his head and neck,his full blood count came back normal.so what could be causing his lumps.

Need to see MD: you need to bring him to see pediatrician. swollen lymph glands can be caused by different things- infection- bacterial, viral, TB etc- , inflammation, malignancy, etc. he needs to get further testing.  antibiotic trial is usually given. if that does not help and lumps remain or get bigger- a biopsy should be  done.

Unlikely: they are likely just whiteheads which are a precursor to acne. They reflect body oil trapped in pores under the skin. A mild benzoyl peroxide (5%) applied for a few hours every few days may clear it up. Staph will always have some irritation/redness surrounding a spot.

esp if getting worse!

Rare things are rare: Head &amp; eye pain are most often associated with a simple headache or onset of a simple viral illness. I couldn't even begin to link a tingle in the feet to a tumor or any other one issue. If the pattern interferes with the kids activities of life, have her evaluated,
