Carpal Tunnel: Get evaluated for carpal tunnel syndrome. You can try wearing carpal tunnel brace to see if it helps. Good luck.

Cannot say in your p: particular case but carpal tunnel is the classic cause of hand problems with repetitive use.

Tricky: without an exam, I can only give general information therea re a lot of reasons for hand shaking and a simple exam can figure out which are possibly there in your case. The pace of the shaking, whther writing improves it a bit and if it is in both hands are some of the main points.

should i go to the doctor? i think i jammed my finger in gym class today, but i'm not too sure. it's not swollen or bent, it just hurts a lot when i'm writing, typing or texting.

I : I would ice the finger and take Motrin or advil (ibuprofen) to help prevent swelling. Also refrain from using the finger (e.G typing / texting). If the pain does not subside in a day then have the finger examined, and if necessary x-ray'd.  Even though it may not be broken, you could have sustained ligament damage.  If you find that you have lost the range of motion in the finger you should seek help.

i've had chest pain and shortness of breath for three months now. it gets worse even just from writing and typing. it's hard to stay asleep at night.

Need eval:  At age 25, you absolutely need a medical evaluation to find out the reasons for your chest pain and difficulty breathing.

Carpal tunnel. Is : One of the most common peripheral entrapment nerve disorder.  However more detail is needed for a potential dusgnosis. Perhaps a consult with a hand surgeon.  Use of a store bought splint not too tight and over the counter. Aniinflmatory medication may help

for years i get twitches all over my body. for the past 3 weeks now my hand has been twitching. it feels pretty constant with small breaks. it moves my index finger. its my hand i use for writing and typing. no other symptoms. should i go in or wait?
