Possible: Depends upon how stressed and worked up you were leading up to the proceudre. If you opted for local anesthesia instead of IV sedation, you may have been tense during the entire procedure and this will result in body ache. Also you should be on an antibiotc following the procedure because it is a  surgical procedure.

Wisdom: Not likely. I have never heard of this post extraction. Dvt is from lack of movement and dehydration.

See your PCP: There are a number of things that can cause a headache to develop after extraction. Often after a tooth extraction you are prescribed opiates (e.g. Vicodin) Headaches are one of the side effects associated with opiates. Another reason could be caffeine withdrawal, stress or cervicogenic headache. Regardless, see your primary care physician for evaluation.

Either: Both doctors are trained for this type of situation.  Although their way of treating this problem may be different.  Be sure to discuss any concerns at you have at the initial consultation / evaluation appointment.

It shouldn't be: May be that you are mouth breathing at night, could be that you coincidentally ended up with a sore throat. You did not mention if is was a wisdom tooth, if you were infected, or if you are on antibiotics or other meds, so that should be considered, too.

Several solutions: For dry mouth I have found that products such as biotene help. I suggest you consult your dentist as dry mouth can be caused be several factors including salivary gland blockage, meds, etc. As far as pain after extraction, it should last maybe 5-7 days. Solution would be pain killers. Complications can include dry socket or infection so i would consult with your dentist.

Not usually: There is a wide range of post operative pain following the removal of a tooth.  It depends upon many factors.  Call your dentist for advice.  This usually requires pain medication.  If otc pain medication such as advil, motrin, aleve (naproxen) or what you normally take for a headache is not enough, your dentist can prescribe something stronger.  You might also have to also be seen to evaluate the area.

i took 2 panadol (acetaminophen) extra tablets (500mg/tablet) can i take another 2 panadol (acetaminophen) night tablets four hours later ?  p.s : pain after tooth extraction

Call your dentist: It will be a very good idea if you call the dr who performed the surgery on you .. Taking too much pain killers after extractions is not a very nice thing to do

Completely Normal: All surgery causes some degree of pain. Depending on the difficulty and invasiveness of the procedure, the pain can be more or less. In the vast majority of cases, tooth extractions lead to mild or moderate pain which only lasts a couple of days. If your experience is different, you should contact your dentist/oral surgeon and get some answers. Today, we also have effective pain medications.
