from 4 days i'm feeling like something stuck behind tounge bt no pain. feeling only wen i think of it otherwise nothing.. wht is it.??

Behind tongue: Under tongue?  In your throat?  In your sinuses?  Can you see anything?

As a general rule something that bothers you more when you think of  it and does not bother you when you lie flat, sleep or during activity are using not serious.

i swere my tounge has gotten shorter when i was younger it reached further down now it's like i have no tounge. is there something wrong with me or it?

Vague: Never heard this description before, but nothing in health surprises me.  If there is an issue where you cannot stick your tongue out very far, there could be a "tongue tied" situation caused by an unusually short, thick lingual frenulum, a membrane connecting the underside of the tongue to the floor of the mouth.  If in doubt, see a dentist.

Perhaps: Perhaps you did. Without actually seeing you, we would have no way to know. If that's what happened, it will resolve on its own rather quickly. If it persists or you want to confirm your own diagnosis, then you will have to see your own dentist. Feel better.

Depends: Age?  Recent illness?  Fever?  Trauma to mouth?  Medications?  All of these can play into ulcers in the mouth.  If a  child, viral illness can be the cause, ie, herpes, adenoviruses, etc.  Trauma with toothbrush and others can do this.  Vitamin deficiency can sometime be a culprit.  Usually treat with warm salt water rinses, avoid toothpast with sodium laurel sulfate and observe.  See pcp/dentist.

Thickening tongue: Is it sudden? Are you drooling ,having difficulty speaking or swallowing? Could be allergic reaction to food or other material, take a benedryl ( if not allergic to it) and seek medical attention immediately  in ER.

Long term thickening can be due to acromegaly, thyroid disease, amylodosis. See a doctor

Ulceration: Usually an oral herpes will form a painless or a slightly painful blister in the mouth before it ruptured and became a painful ulceration. And usually it takes a week or so to heal up. If you have unhealed ulceration on your tongue for more than 3 weeks, please consult with your dentist or an oral surgeon for further evaluation.

Smooth wet colorful: The tissues of the floor of the mouth include glands/ducts, nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue with smooth cover of mucosa. The blood vessels are superficial, so purplish/blue is common. Fins of tissue (plica) are like ribbons near the ducts of the saliva glands. An oral anatomy textbook at your library can give great photos.

Burning Tongue Synd.: Could be herpetic viral syndrome or burning tongue/mouth syndrome. Tongue Pain: Tongue pain can be caused by trauma (sharp food - like a chip or fishbone), ulcer from infection or tumor, burn, etc... Examination of the tongue should give you a good idea of the cause. Is there a cut, ulcer, or object seen? Feeling the tongue can give you an idea of a mass that is under the surface. Persistant symptoms or a mass/ulcer warrant an eval with your doctor. Hope this helps!
