ive been suffering from a bad cold for the past couple of days and this morning i woke up with a little white spot in the top left corner of my iris. 
i have this feeling that somethings in my eye, i tried rubbing it lightly but its the same. ?

Maybe unrelated: Colds are very common. Everybody catches a cold occasionally. Getting a spot on an iris is somewhat rare, and is not something that a cold should cause. Thus, the iris spot might be coincidental to the cold and not caused by the cold. One's pediatrician can examine to see what is going on. In-person exam is best but sometimes parents can set up a video visit for their teen, such as on HealthTap.

hi iv got a white spot on the top of the coloured bit on my right eye. it feels like a grain of sugar is sitting there. how urgent is this? thanks

Get checked: If you can feel it get it checked. An irritation as described may lead to a corneal abrasion and if left untreated may require corneal surgery. Get it checked now by an ophthalmologist.

i took my contacts off when my left eye started getting red from the top then spread, i noticed a white spot above my pupil. should i be concerned?

Red eye.: People who wear contacts can get serious eye infections or other problems related to their use. Call your eye doc and see if you need to be seen today or for advice on how to manage this for now.  If you have pain, fever, blurry vision and a red or painful eye, you need to be seen today!

i had a red spot on my right cheekbone at th top just down and round slightly from my eye and two hours later it  swollen concideratlyis this ok? ??

Skin infection?: Did you get bit or stung by a bug? Does it itch? Did you have a pimple there?  A red area if warm, painful and spreading could be do a skin infection (called cellulitis).  If it itches, this is less likely and maybe due to a bite or a reaction to a soap or lotion.  If it is a skin infection and it spreads rapidly this is serious and you need to get seen at an ED especially if you have a fever

i have a small whitish spot on the bottom part of my iris that is visible when looking through the mirror i think its a brushfield spot are those bad?

Unlikely: Brushfield spots are a an accumulation of extra mid- iris pigment in a bundle seen in most often identified in patients with Down syndrome. What you describe does not sound like such a spot and I doubt you would be able to write out this question if you had DS. Have your doc look at it during your next visit. I don't think it is worth a visit by itself.

Probably on cornea: The iris is viewed through the cornea and generally is constant in shape and apopearance.  It takes some internal disease, surgery or disruption for it to change.  Some irises do have pigmented spots or light spots on them but these are long term.  More likely you have a spot on your cornea which sits overtop of the iris inside.  If this is new, especially if the vision is down get evaluation.

Brushfield Spot: Probably a benign connective tissue spot on the iris periphery. Should be able to make an easy diagnosis with an exam with ophthalmologist using a slit lamp or biomicroscope.

Unusual if not Blue: Actual "spots" on the iris are unusual.  Some area may be white in blue eyes, but not really sure what you are asking.

Has it been there a long time?  Is it growing?  Are you sure it's the iris?

Freckle: Iris nevi, or moles and freckles, are the most common cause of a dark spot on the colored part of the eye.  However if this is new, it should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist.

Corneal arcus: You are noticing a layering of lipid at the edge of the cornea.  This is not on the iris which is inside the eye.  Arcus is common and age related and almost never affects eye function or structure.
