White spot on the iris, what is this?

Brushfield Spot: Probably a benign connective tissue spot on the iris periphery. Should be able to make an easy diagnosis with an exam with ophthalmologist using a slit lamp or biomicroscope.

Normal: Everyone has variations in their irises, sometimes including a spot or two. Loos closely in the mirror, you can see how different your irises are from each other.
