Lots of treatments: Sebum is normal. Using retin-A is the best first step. Accutane would do more but it has lots of drawbacks so I would advise consulting your dermatologist.

Acne: Wash face w gentle cleanser 2x/day &amp; use oil free products. No oily hair or heavy foundations. Try not to pop pimples. Avoid touching face (cradling chin in hands). Remove makeup before bed. Shower after strenuous exercise. Consider OTC products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide).  Retinoids/ comedone extractor can be helpful for black heads. If &gt; mild acne see dermatology.

Dirt & Oil: Our pores get filled with dirt & oil daily. Our skin naturally produces oils to help protect it.  When bacteria are involved it causes acne (pimples), which can lead to pus. Try to avoid squeezing your skin, it can cause redness & inflammation.

: Sounds like sebum plugs, which are composed of oil and dead skin cells. Avoid squeezing your pores as doing so can cause inflammation. To prevent them, exfoliate regularly and use retinol or retinoid topicals to help keep your pores clear. Remember to use sunscreen daily SPF 35+ (mineral based is best for oily acne-prone skin). Retinols/retinoids will make your skin more sensitive to sun damage.

Internist or Surgeon: I would see if it resolves after treating with antibiotics prescribed by an internist or infectious disease specialist.  You need to take antibiotics that cover staph.Aureus both methicillin sensitive and resistant strains as well as covering strep. Pyogenes.  I would also soak it with hot salt water.  If it doesn't resolve you will need incision and drainage by a surgeon.

That is sebum which: the body uses to coat hairs and keep them moist and flexible.. See your Dr. about the excess sebum. There are acne drugs that can dry this material up and get rid of it
