this morning i noticed i have 2 small purple dots right next to each other on my wrist. a bruise is surrounding it along with a very tiny red bump. ?

Can't diagnose: with this information. Many different things could cause these lesions.

occasionaly in my  vein on my wrist there's  a blue bump it only shows now and then. it's on the vein first saw 4 weeks ago. is this bruising of vein?

Valve?: This is most likely a valve in your vein that you can see pop out based on how well hydrated you are or not.  This is normal.  If it becomes painful, swollen, or red, you should see a doctor.

Bruise /trauma: prob jsut due to trauma to the arm...very common. if continues to enlarge, would see a doc

Not yet: Most likeley a traumatic episode as is soo new. Should lesion not fade after abt 2-3 weeks, would then get it checked.

Hard to Say!: It's difficult to say without an examination and possible x-ray. A likely possibility is a Ganglionic Cyst from a remote injury. Hope you get well soon.

Hard to say: Stop picking Maybe it IS chicken skin (Karatosis Pilaris) You need a history. A rash in 1 spot is due to an event at that spot like an exposure. Or where a parasite like scabies, which doesn't itch right away, 1st jumped on. Where were you? What were you doing? When did it start? Who were you with? Is it spreading? Had it before? Other medical problems? Take those answers to a doc for a solution

Brace, NSAIDs, ice: If you have a tendonitis, a contusion (brusie), or ligament sprain, a cock-up velcro wrist brace that you can get at cvs or walgreens can help rest the tissues and allow them to heal faster.  Nsaids and ice can also speed the reduction in inflammation.

RICE: A good treatment for many musculoskeletal injuries is the rice protocol: rest, immobilize, cold, elevate. Don't use it, keep it still (splints help this), ice it and keep it elevated. If it doesn't get better, it's better to take a wrist injury to the doctor sooner rather than later to prevent complications. There are lots of ways to fracture a wrist that might not be apparent without an exam.

Avoid falling: Sounds silly, but this may be the most important thing you can do.  Make your house safe and eliminate slip, trip and fall hazards.  Have a bone density checked to see if you would benefit from calcium and/or vit d replacement.
