Avoid falling: Sounds silly, but this may be the most important thing you can do. Make your house safe and eliminate slip, trip and fall hazards. Have a bone density checked to see if you would benefit from calcium and/or vit d replacement.

Fall precaution : You cannot prevent an injury if you have an accident. You can decrease the risk of falling by seeing a therapist for fall precaution exercises. You should also get a bone density test to see if you need treatment to prevent osteoporosis.
