It depends: I am assuming you are referring to fainting.  The medical term is syncope.  There can be many causes of syncope.  Some can be serious.  You should see you doctor for an evaluation.  It could be as simple as being dehydrated to a warning of a stroke to serious disease of the heart.

Perhaps, more for the fact that The McMannster is dead; or heart rhythm change, stroke/TIA, seizure, your favorite Rock Goddess saying YES to a date..SYNCOPE- Almost sounds like it could be a Billy Joel tune.

Symptoms?: Are you blaming the the treatment (amiodarone) on the disease (arrhythmia?).  If you're blacking out and having near blackouts with hot flushes, you'd better report it to the doctor who prescribed the amiodarone to see if it's not effective?
