Suspect infection: It may be old infections since there is calcification. You did not sya where you a re form but certain fungus infections are  in certain parts  of the country. The  insert  picture  can suggest  Arizona and we  think of coccidiomycos. It you lived in the Ohio -Mississippi river valley we woudl consider  histoplasmosis. What did your  physicians tell you?

Portal hypertension: Your doc is looking to make sure you don't have a rare tumor or other reason for portal hypertension, a condition which affects the liver and blood vessels of the belly.

: The kid has a small extra spleen next to the regular one. It is not a rare finding and has little if any importance.

Portal hypertension: and swelling is a result of impaired venous return due to cirrhosis.  Lymph node swelling could be due to concurrent conditions that can effect lymph nodes. Virus? Cancer?

Not bad: The ultrasound findings are not bad.  In fact, ultrasound is user dependent meaning that the findings you describe might not even be seen by others.  If you have persistent symptoms, ask your doctor about ordering a ct.

Neither: It is not a good idea to undergo any testing if you are feeling well(actually you said great!). Doing unnecessary testing frequently misleads doctors into areas which may be minor variations of normal anatomy. So doing a test  then forces you to do more tests and generates a lot of unwanted anxiety. If you already have anxiety probelms, then it is even more important to do no further testing unles.

Site of healing: Here in kansas city, many (probably most) of us have little calcified granulomas from where we met and walled off histoplasmosis. Tb can do the same thing. It's little cause for concern; rarely these calcium nuggets get sharp edges and can scrape the surrounding structures.

It means there is possible enlargement of a part of the hilum, which is located in the central part of the lung, where the pulmonary blood vessels emerge from the heart.Usually this is just due to anatomic variations of the blood vessels, but it could also be due to adenopathy, a pulmonary circulatory abnormality, or mass.Talk to your doc, you may need a chest CT to sort it out
