Incomplete question: It seems some of your question did not upload. Preeclampsia is a problem more common to first deliveries.I am sure you don't want to delay treatment if anything comes up but try to relax &amp; make sure you have an action plan(where to go/when to go) ready if something does come up.The uterus often goes through some false contractions as you get further along.

i'm 36wks and afraid to have labor while i have vulvar varicose. how safe to have normal delivery while the varicose is present?  my ob say it's ok?!

Please trust your: Ob as your OB has seen the varicosity and where they are and how big they are, they will get worse as u get closer to your due date and  when u push the baby out, if u were my pt and did not want to worry about them getting worse  from a possible vaginal delivery i would offer you an elective c-section and i assume u have an idea of efw nothing worse than pushing 2 hsr and then having c-section.

Get checked: You may be pre-eclamptic and you ought to be checked today. Call your OB. He/she may want you to be seen right away.

can i deliver in a hospital that my ob doesn't work at? i've heard too many horrid stories about it. the hospital i want to deliver at, i've been seeing a urologist there do i'm not completely new. can't i just show up when i'm in labor there?

Bad idea!: You are much better off switching to a doctor who delivers at the hospital where you want to give birth. If you just show up, no one will have your records, which can be dangerous to you and the baby. Also you'll have no say in who takes care of you.

A bit too long: Most docs will recommend waiting 3-6 months to allow your body to physically heal. The real issue is when you are emotionally ready to get pregnant and only you and your partner can answer that.

: Very less likely BV causes pre-term labor.
Yes, it is considered a topical treatment, medication not absorbed so it is safe for pregnancy.

Common practice: Duphaston is approved in over 100 countries worldwide, and over 53 years of use, millions of women have benefitted. As with any medication at times, there is a small risk of having minor adverse reactions. Your Ob/Gyn is using a standard method of inducing menstruation. Speak to him with other concerns you may have.

Discrimination: You can ask, but this is  sexual discrimination and may not be honored by the hospital.  Talk with your doc and get their in put on this matter.

Wait until 39 weeks: After 39 weeks, you can encourage contractions in a uterus that is ready with sex (semen has natural hormones that gently stimulate labor) or gentle nipple stimulation. If the uterus is ready, it might work. If it doesn't work, it's probably not ready for labor. Your doctor can sweep membranes. The baby is developing it's brain and lungs and other organs right up to 40 weeks, so don't rush nature!
