Calorie dense foods: Eating calorie dense foods such as nuts, heavy cream, butter, fatty fishes, dried prunes, and avocado can help increase your daily calorie intake and assist in the desired weight gain. Supplements for weight gain would be inferior in quality to whole foods which are readily available and much less expensive.

Nuvaring: Nuvaring should be used for 3 weeks and then removed for one week. If it falls out you can rinse it off and put it back in. It can be removed for up to 3 hours and still be replaced. If you have had it out longer then you will need to avoid intercourse and or  use condoms to avoid pregnancy. Depends: Typically one has a period at the end of each birth control pack. This may not occur since Depoprovera may still be in your system to some degree. This is ok and not a cause for concern

Depo shot: I would make sure to make an appointment with your practitioner.  2 years of not having a menstrual cycle calls for some testing. The first year after injection may prove from some breakthrough irregular bleeding or no menses at all. Two years is a bit longer than expected to have this.   Is that they only hormonal contraception that you have used since then?  Make sure to get checked.

Irregular bleeding is  one of the most common problems Obgyns treat.: If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  there are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Not really : Exercise and moving around may cause the blood that's already  come out and been sitting  in the back of the vagina canal to be visible. It will not make you have another menstrual cycle.

Check: Sometimes, if appropriate your doc can give a course of Progesterone to bring on periods.
