Malnutrition Problem: Once a woman or girl w/anorexia starts her recovery - starts reversing effects of malnutrition by eating a balanced diet 2 get the nutrients the body needs & 2 get hormones back in balance - her period is likely 2 return. Recovery can be very tough though & relapse common, so having good medical/mental health team is the ideal. If you have not had treatment, start with http://www.Anad.Org.

Not always: Most women will have their periods stop after extreme wt loss and will return after normal wt is attained. There may have been some other damage done that might need treatment from a gynocologist. Don't forget the possibility of pregnancy.
