Nuvaring: Nuvaring should be used for 3 weeks and then removed for one week. If it falls out you can rinse it off and put it back in. It can be removed for up to 3 hours and still be replaced. If you have had it out longer then you will need to avoid intercourse and or use condoms to avoid pregnancy. You can contact the prescribing doctor or do a Healthtap consult to authorize a replacement.
