i take three meds before i leave for work, levothyroxine, effexor (venlafaxine) and clonazepam  please advise the best way to take,  thank you?

See below:: Levothyroxine should be taken first before you eat anything. Try, although i&#x27;ll say what&#x27;s most important is that you be as consistent as possible in how you take it; but take it every single day: it is the most important med you are on.  Effexor (venlafaxine) should be xr and taken in the am. Dosage is important to know. Clonazepam can make you drowsy-if you can avoid during day, you may not feel so drowsy.

Anytime: It should not interfere with other meds.  Find a good time for you, let's say every morning - so you remember to take it every day.

can i take actalin along with my levothyroxine? and what is the best supplement or vitamin for brain fog? i am dying of it! help! i'm on 100 mcg levo

Actalin: Some doctors think this is wonderful, others think it is not necessary.
Two things to do:
1: Check with your doctor that your thyroid replacement is working well. If not changes in dose will be made.
2: If the thyroid is OK but you are unwell the doctor will work with you to find out what is wrong.

I cannot see a good reason to take Actalin.

can omeprazole and calcium citrate/d3 be taken at same time or does the omeprazole need to be separated? for all of the above, are they best taken on an empty stomach or with food? i take levothyroxine in a.m 1 hr before breakfast on empty stomach?

: Yes, you can take both together, either with foods or empty stomach per your convenience. Take care.

i'm taking 300micg of levothyroxine per day, how many time it take for effective?

300 mcg: That is a very high dose. Take it once a day at bedtime - at least an hour after your last meal or snack.

Please have your doctor check your thyroid levels again.

i take 125mcg of levothyroxine a day.i have profuse hair loss, dry,very itchy skin, anxiety,restless etc for some time.my endo says im within normal parameters.but,i asked lower my dose and he suggested down to 88mcg..thats quite a drop.  too much ?

Levothyroxine: I would be guided by your TSH level. If it becomes too high, then you have an underactive thyroid. I really think you should follow your endocrinologist's instructions as he/she is taking into consideration all your thyroid parameters as well as your symptoms.

Do not need: There is medical indication do do a colon cleanse, they are a waste of money.

Levothyroxine : Is best taken in the morning, fasting, an hour before eating to insure absorption. You can take the Prilosec with breakfast.

can i take lansoprazole at the same time as levothyroxine?

Yes: Hi. There's a silly notion out there that levothyroxine (LT4) needs to be taken alone. I recommend patients to take it when it's most convenient...usually in the morning with all their pills (and food is fine too). LT4 and lansoprazole have no interaction. LT4 comes in a multitude of incremental doses, and if any medicine or food fractionally impairs absorption, that's cheap and easy to fix.
