seems like my baby has bubbles in chest & throat, its gurgley, as if she will throw up; but she never does. she also gags on her saliva frequently.. ?

Reflux?: How old is your baby?  How soon after feeding does this happen?  Does she spit up a lot?  Try elevating after feedings for 45 minutes and see if the symptoms improve.  Also if pt is older than 3 months old can add 1 tablespoon of rice cereal to every 4 oz of formula if the elevating does not help.

Acid reflux: Likely it is gastroesophageal acid reflux disease. Obviously, you should avoid spicy food and other food that may cause the same problem. You can try otc medication to try like zantac, (ranitidine) Pepcid , Prilosec etc. Discuss further with your primary care doctor.

i am having pain in my chest feels like an air bubble going up and down.   when i eat or drink it's worse and like a sharp pain then goes away/comes ?

U may have some: form of esophagitis or reflux.See if Tums (calcium carbonate) or omeprazole helps,then get in to c ur doc.

Esophageal: if this is a recurrent issue, you should get a esophageal study, either a barium swallow or an EGD. it sounds like esophageal spasm, but you need a test to confirm.

Very possible.: these symptoms may be due to Gerd, and they sound fairly typical of it. An easy way to tell if symptoms are due to excess acid is to try a liquid or chewable antacid, such as Tums (calcium carbonate) or Mylanta, when you get the pain. If you get a temporary relief, it probably was due to stomach acid and Gerd. If not, you should discuss it with your doctor and consider other possible reasons. Good luck.

Weight &amp; Vomiting: Please see your doc ASAP.  The cause may me physical or psychological or a combo of both factors.  You need to avoid becoming dehydrated and malnourished.  Lots of reasons to be hopeful.  Peace and good health.

i have gerd and pots. if my gerd acts up my pots does 2. especially if i eat chocolate. i get chest bubbles, palps, lightheaded when i stand up. why?

Vagus nerve stim: The symptoms you are describing in regards to eating chocolate are most likely causing some distension in your stomach and small bowel leading to stimulation of your parasympathetic nervous system (main nerve being Vagus nerve) which can worsen your POTS. : You've been suffering for a year and you have not sought medical attention because why? 5 most dangerous words in the English language, "Maybe it will go away." Your problem has not self-healed. Put down the computer. Pick up the phone. Call a general practitioner to begin the diagnostic process.

Very likely: You feel guilty about your smoking and sounds like you have a history of anxiety which can lead to lightheadedness, nausea and chest pain.  Rather than worrying about your health,  do something positive about it! quit smoking asap!
