Very possible.: these symptoms may be due to Gerd, and they sound fairly typical of it. An easy way to tell if symptoms are due to excess acid is to try a liquid or chewable antacid, such as Tums (calcium carbonate) or Mylanta, when you get the pain. If you get a temporary relief, it probably was due to stomach acid and Gerd. If not, you should discuss it with your doctor and consider other possible reasons. Good luck.
