Not certain: I ever learned the answer to this, but one would assume that increasing the intrathoracic pressure with a cough would also put pressure on the intra-abdominal organs ( bowel and bladder) aiding in evacuation.  While these functions may not occur exactly simultaneously they may occur in a time interval that is very close.  This is just an educated guess.

Your symptoms: require a doctor's visit.   An urgent care or if your symptoms worsen/ become persistent/ severe, an ER.  You mention your mid / right back and chills, which could be a urinary tract or kidney infection.  You mention a cough, with back pain, that could be a pneumonia.   And you have a change in your GI symptoms.   Too much to narrow down over the WEB.  Best wishes.

: Some head cold viruses - like adenovirus - can cause gastrointestinal&nbsp;issues  https://www.cdc.gov/adenovirus/about/symptoms.html   Also, medications used to treat head colds like zinc and anti-inflammatories (like ibuprofen) can cause stomach issues. We hope you feel better soon.

Severity determines: Occasional incontinence of stool with fecal leakage is common, but loss of bowel control particularly without warning may signal a significant infection, inflammatory problem, maldigestive concern, or neurologic disorder.  Sometimes, particularly in youths, the condition is behavioral.  Often, anal manometry followed by biofeedback can be curative without the need of surgery or medication.

Weak anus : Everybody farts. 14x/day according to one expert! with age, weakness of anus leads to more ready passage of flats with more minor increase in intra-abdo pressure - as with coughing etc.

No: Crohn's disease is not an infectious disease. That being said you can have a GI tract infection on top of the crohn's especially if you have been treated with antibiotics and this infection can be contagious from contact with your stool. In general the gas or flatus should not be able to spread any infection without direct stool contact.

It could be: Hernia, lymph node, or less likely aneurysm or even tumor.  Show it to a doctor.  Some of these conditions require surgery or biopsy for diagnosis.

Probably wheezing: Your description of air/gas moving in wind pipes suggests wheezing, which can be seen in chronic cough. Many Asthma patients also have wheezing. This warrants an examination to listen to your breath sounds and for you to get the right treatment. Feel better:)
