Cough: When you cough the diaphragm pushes down on your abdomen and you can feel pressure all the way down to your pelvis, which allows gas and for some urine to escape. If you place your fist just under your diaphragm and push in as you cough it will prevent much of the pressure sent down to the pelvic area.
