Treat constipation: Sometimes folks report headaches with constipation. I would recommend first getting a handle on the constipation and see if your headaches don't resolve once you're more regular again. The first place to start is eating a healthy, balance diet with plenty of fiber. See your dr. For more specific help and advice on evaluating headaches, using laxatives, and maybe prescription meds for constipation.

i have chronic constipation, dysnergia & anxiety disorder. i get severe headache & vomiting if my bowel doesn't clean. my endoscopy, colonoscopy, x-ray, usg, stool culture test all reports were normal. is it due to dysnergia? should i have sibo test?

: You have seen a GI specialist and gone through many tests to come up with the diagnosis of dyssynergia. SIBO test has no role in this case. Chronic constipation is one major symptom of dyssynergic defecation syndrome. It is not uncommon that you have had headache and vomit when you can't empty your bowel successfully.

i have severe headache, nausea, fever, mild stomach pain and constipation for past two days. i took paracetamol but pain is still the same?

Evaluation:  How much paracetamol have you taken already? Although in a lot of cases it could be a viral sickness but if you are not getting better on your own then please consult a physician to discuss your symptoms in detail and that can help to formulate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Stroke: Generally strokes do not cause pain. The brain has no nerves of its own. Anneysm bleeds trauma related bleeds iaround the brain are very painful. Frequently reported as the worse headache of my life. Generally starts slow and builds in severity as blood accumulates irritating meninges protective layers around brain.

Migraine: This is most likely a migraines headache. The hot shower can be a trigger for this. Sinus pressure is usually relieved by sanding in the hot steam. This diagnosis would be further validated by the presence of nausea and wavy vision during the onset of the headache. If this is recurrent, please see your doctor for analysis and treatment. It depends: It depends upon the cause of your severe headaches. Most headaches are handled appropriately by the emergency department physicians. If someone has a more complicated case, they may require consultation with a neurologist or, if they have a surgical problem, a neurosurgeon.

Headache: As you are having pain in the neck also, it could be arising form the neck. Neck joints may need to be checked out for any arthritis or exaggerated curves curves causing strain on the muscles. Other causes of head also need be considered in the differential diagnosis like vascular headache, tension headache, headache related to intracranial lesions etc

is there anything i can do after my egd/colonoscopy  so that i will not get a severe headache like last time i had the procd. it was bad hadache?

Yes: My patients frequently get headaches from the high salt concentration in the prep. You need to look at the prep and discuss with your doctor low salt prep alternatives. 
It can also help to rehydrate with pedialyte post colonoscopy.

Some of my patients get  headaches from fasting so long and i encourage my patients to eat as soon as their exam is done.
