UTI: If you are having bloody urine during a UTI it may take several days for this to resolve because there has been damage to tissues which cause the bleeding, and it may take time for this to heal over.  If you continue to bleed would definitely go back to your doctor asap and be reevaluated.

my urine tested positive for trace red blood cells. everything else negative.culture came back with multiple flora.only symptom is burning feeling that doesnt go away after going to the bathroom.can this still be a uti or more likely something else?

Maybe/not: A report like that suggests a "squat &amp; pee" collection with poor technique. Such studies come up with germs from the vagina/skin &amp; bladder making it of less value for diagnosis. A " clean catch" or midstream "catch it like a guy peeing" would be more easy to know if this was a UTI or not.

took cipro (ciprofloxacin) for uti, now i've had bloating for a week. i had a pelvic/tvu ultrasound and blood tests at dr. what is wrong and how will it go away?

Dysbiosis: Most likely, the Cipro (ciprofloxacin) killed off most of your normal intestinal bacteria, causing all kinds of problems.  Eat yogurt, or a good probiotic from your health food store to recolonize your normal bacteria.

Could still be UTI: A urinary tract infection could be accompanied by blood.  BUT, we would need to be sure that the blood clears once the infection is treated.  If it does not, then we would need to entertain alternate etiologies for the blood in the urine.

Uti: Increase your fluid intake and if this is not resolving your symptoms then I think you should take antibiotics to cure this infection before it gets worse.

Urinalysis, protein: Blood and protein in urine usually  indicate problems anywhere in the urinary system- kidneys, ureters, bladder. Blood in the urine must be confirmed by micr oscopic analysis. Urine protein must be confirmed by urine dipstick and quantified . If both are confirmed, you should see nephrologist as there are many diseases which present with these urinary  abnormalities.

Micro-hematuria: Microscopic hematuria is fairly common and often from a benign familial tendency.  Unfortunately, blood in the urine is also often the only sign one gets from some conditions that need to be discovered, like bladder or kidney cancer or kidney stones.  See a urologist for workup. It likely will involve an office cystoscopic exam and upper urinary tract imaging.
