Urinalysis, protein: Blood and protein in urine usually indicate problems anywhere in the urinary system- kidneys, ureters, bladder. Blood in the urine must be confirmed by micr oscopic analysis. Urine protein must be confirmed by urine dipstick and quantified . If both are confirmed, you should see nephrologist as there are many diseases which present with these urinary abnormalities.
